Trivia: Iain is a qualified light-aircraft pilot, but he decided not to pursue this as a ‘career’ after his friends made it very clear they would never step in any aircraft when he was sat in the cockpit. Comments such as “given the way you drive a car” and “remember when you fell off your bicycle when you were stationary” totally quashed his ambition.
